Tony Morrison serves as the Media Specialist for the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Pittsburgh, Department of Medicine. With over a decade of dedicated service to the field, Tony brings a wealth of expertise in digital media, photography, audio/visual production, and graphic design to his role. Although not to be confused with the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of the same name, Tony’s passion lies in leveraging digital platforms to amplify the division’s groundbreaking work and discoveries.
Since joining the Division of Infectious Diseases in 2022, Tony has been instrumental in curating and producing engaging digital content, including the highly acclaimed Microbe Matters Podcast. Through insightful interviews with esteemed faculty, researchers, clinicians, and staff, Tony invites listeners to join him on a journey of exploration into the intricate world of infectious diseases.
Regardless of background or expertise, Tony welcomes all to participate in the conversation, emphasizing that a passion for microbiology and public health is the only prerequisite.
